4 Major Reasons Why Your Hard Work Hasn’t Translated Into Monetary Success

It’s key to constantly improve yourself throughout your journey as an entrepreneur. In this post, I shared 4 major reasons why your hard work hasn’t translated into monetary success.

Work hard, live lavishly, marry beautifully, and your life will be perfect. Unfortunately, hard work alone isn’t enough to make you wealthy and successful. In fact, most people do work hard but yet don’t make the money they thought they would.

It’s a common problem and I even dealt with this issue early on in my entrepreneurial career. I quickly realized that there are some major things that tend to usually happen that stop you from translating your hard work into monetary success.

In this post, I share 4 major reasons why your hard work hasn’t translated into monetary success:

1. You’re Scared

If you want to close a sale or close a deal, you’ve always got to ASK for it. Most people are scared of the ASK so they don’t ever know what could have been. Don’t ever give away a product or service without really asking for money.

If you’ve got a new product that you’re hiring beta testers for, ASK to see if someone would be willing to pay you while having the luxury of testing your product. Fear is the number one reason why people don’t make as much money as they can. They either price too low or are scared to see how much money something is worth.

2. You’re Focusing On The Wrong Things

This was one of the main reasons early on my hard work wasn’t turning into monetary success. I would spend a lot of time on a random project or idea in exchange for equity. I quickly learned that it wasn’t a good idea to take the role of an advisor on just any project.

What ended up happening more often than not was that I worked hard, wasted a bunch of time and got paid out nothing. It’s not about how much time you spend, but rather what you spend your time on. If an opportunity isn’t paying out, you’ve got to move on and look for the next best thing.

3. You’re Not Driven By Your Goals

What you believe is truly what you achieve. I am a firm believer of that and the stronger my belief towards something is, the easier it is to achieve. If you’re working hard, but not setting goals…..it’s completely useless.

First, ask yourself what goals you really want to achieve and by when. Once you’ve got some answers to that, you know how to plan out your daily activities to lead you to that path. Hard work can easily be translated through your goals if you give it a shot.

4. You’re Letting Others Control Your Decisions

To be truly successful, you need to make your own decisions. You can’t let the noise from your personal life interrupt your work life. If you truly believe in a decision, stick to it. Don’t ever let others influence your business decisions unless you’re truly asking for their help.

Criticism and outside noise is a huge reason why many people are unsuccessful with their business ventures. You can work as hard as you want, but if you continue making poor decisions…..you’re canceling out all the progress you made. Be smart with your choices.

7 Signs You’re On The Right Track For Becoming A Millionaire

Earning a million dollars isn’t that wild of a thought anymore. In this post, I share 7 signs you’re on the right track for becoming a millionaire.

While some people like to argue that money isn’t a true measure of success, money is just a way to buy yourself freedom. It gives you the freedom to do the things you always wanted to do and to spend time your own way.

As a result of that, everyone has some sort of monetary goal that they want to achieve. Becoming a millionaire nowadays isn’t as hard as it may seem on the outside. With the right mindset and approach, anyone can essentially achieve it.

In this post, I’m going to share 7 signs you’re on the right track for becoming a millionaire:

1. You’re Investing Instead Of Saving

The best type of income is the one where you get paid without having to do much work. Why do the wealthier get even wealthier every single day? Wise investments. If you have money, don’t store it under your mattress. Instead, find a place where you can double, triple or quadruple it.

Millionaires believe in creating a rainy day fund that they never touch. Aside from that, all other money is invested into various types of money-making avenues. Every time you earn a dollar, think about how you can double it.

2. You’re Dreaming Big

One of my favorite quotes is, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land amongst the stars.” When people are setting a goal of one million dollars, you’re setting a goal of 25 million dollars. If you have that kind of attitude, you’re dreaming big.

What you dream and essentially think about continuously is what ends up happening. It’s the law of attraction and it plays a huge factor when it comes to wealth. Don’t go for the minimum, instead shoot for the most unrealistic goal you can think of.

3. You Never Say No To An Opportunity

Opportunities are always coming and going. However, millionaires don’t think like that. They don’t know which opportunity or connection it is that can take them over the top so they keep an open mind when it comes to everything.

If you’re passing down opportunities without even hearing them, you’re missing out big time. It only takes one big success to earn a ridiculous amount of wealth. Smart individuals are always waiting and keeping an open mind when someone is bringing them an opportunity.

4. You’re Learning Everyday

Darwin said it the best when he said it’s not the strongest or the most intelligent of the species that survives. Instead, it’s the one who is most adaptable to change. The world is constantly changing every single day and you need to keep up with it.

If you’re stuck with the old ways, you’re not going to be wealthy or successful. Millionaires are learning and educating themselves every single day on what changes they can make to have the upper hand tomorrow.

5. You’d Rather Be Anything But Poor

Being poor or wealthy is really a mindset. Bill Gates said it best when he said, “If you’re born poor, it’s not your mistake. But if you die poor, it is your mistake.”

Those are some extremely powerful words delivered by one of the wealthiest individuals in the world. If you’ve ever lived a day poor in your life, you truly understand how much it sucks. Use that as your fuel and motivation to promise yourself that you’re not going to go through that life ever again.

6. You’re A Goal Setter

Setting goals is crucial to success in anything. If you’re aimlessly working without having a purpose, you’re not going to be successful. You need to write down your goals and make sure that you’re working towards them every single day.

By setting goals, you don’t just want to set that big goal of earning a ton of money. If you want to earn $10 million dollars in 5 years. You might set a goal such as earning $500,000 the first year, $1.5 million the second year and so forth. Set small goals that lead towards your larger goal.

7. You’re Passionate

If you’re not passionate about what you do, you’re not going to be successful at it. Talent can only take you so far. If you don’t love what you do, it’s going to be real hard to get up and put the work in every single day.

Millionaires are so successful because they love what they do and they’re willing to put in additional hours even if it doesn’t necessarily mean getting paid for that time. Find a passion of yours and use that to generate income. You’ll be much happier this way.

Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, earning a million dollars isn’t that wild of a thought anymore. In this post, we shared 7 signs you’re on the right track for becoming a millionaire.

5 Choices You Must Make Now If You Want To Retire A Millionaire

With more and more people working past their retirement age, it’s time some changes are made. In this post, I share 5 choices you must make now if you want to retire a millionaire.

A million dollar once upon a time seemed like so much money. If you look at it today, some people argue that a million dollars isn’t even enough to retire with and that you need more. Regardless of what your perspective on it is, a million is a million.

Too many people don’t understand what it takes to save enough for retirement and end up working well past the ages of 60-65. If you’re young right now and thinking you have a long time until that age, do NOT ignore this post.

If anything, you are in the drivers seat to have the retirement of your life if you make the right decisions. In this post, I share 5 choices you must make now if you want to retire a millionaire.

1. Set The Goal

Studies have shown that people who write down their goals actually achieve it compare to others who just think or talk about it. Get a piece of paper out or post it up on your bulletin board so that you have a constant reminder of what you plan on doing.

Planning is the only way you can execute on a goal so immense as this. Set some goals on how much income you want to be earning a year, how much you want to save towards your retirement and how much money you want to have for your retirement every 5-10 years.

2. Live Frugally

Athletes are a prime example of individuals that don’t live frugally. When they make $5 million a year, they tend to spend 95% of that every year. When they get an extension and make $10 million a year, they’re still spending 95% of that every year. How is that possible you ask?

Well, it’s simple. The more money you make, the more material items you become infatuated with. While I’m not going to stop you from treating yourself to nice rewards, it doesn’t mean you need to spend like a maniac. Live frugally so that you’re enjoying, saving & investing.

3. Invest Frequently

The best decision I made ever since the age of 18 was investing my money at chance I got. I made some really foolish investments that lost me a lot of money, but I’ve also made some great ones. The beauty of investing is that you can make returns passively.

There are safe investments and risky ones, but it’s just a matter of how you want to play with your money. I recommend doing a mix of both. If you’re investing more money, go safe. If you’re investing less money, take a risk. If you invest your money for the next 40-50 years, you bet you’re going to get some nice returns every now and then.

4. Don’t Buy Into Credit

The reason why so many people are working late past their retirement age is all because they made horrible financial decisions when they were younger. People accrue debt by using credit instead of debit. Until this day, I’ve never had a credit card of my own.

My thought process is really simple. If I can’t afford it, I don’t need it. Be very careful before you buy into credit and be even more careful about how high of a limit you use. If you give into temptation easily, don’t get a credit card. It’s as simple as that.

5. Work Your Ass Off

The only real recipe for success is working hard. If you work your ass off, you’re going to eventually get the results you want. If you want to retire a millionaire, it’s not going to happen overnight. It requires a lot of persistence and patience.

The harder you work, the quicker you will get the amount of money you want for retirement. So pull up your sleeves and get to work!

7 Things Every Entrepreneur Can Be Thankful For This Thanksgiving

With turkey day just around the corner, it felt only natural to remind entrepreneurs of some things they are blessed with. In this post, I share 7 things every entrepreneur can be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is a time of counting your blessings and being thankful for all the things you have. We as entrepreneurs often forget how thankful and blessed we truly are. We get caught up in all the hustle and bustle of every day life that we never stop to think about how blessed we are.

In this post, I’m going to share 7 things every entrepreneur can be thankful for this Thanksgiving:

1. You Don’t Answer To Anyone

The best part about being an entrepreneur is that you don’t have to answer to anyone. While the remaining 98% of the population has a job and a boss to report to, you get to do whatever you please because you are the head honcho. While being the man in charge has its difficulties and responsibilities, the pleasure of being founder or CEO is always a joy. Be grateful that you are in a position of so much power, leadership and control.

2. Opportunity To Create Value/Change

The best part about being an entrepreneur is that you get to create a product or service that can impact millions of people. Businesses with a purpose tend to succeed more than a gimmick and there’s good reason for that. If you’re an entrepreneur trying to change the way something works, you have a lot to be thankful for.

3. Being Flexible

Most people have to report to a boss at a certain time almost every single day. You as an entrepreneur on the other hand can take the first flight to catch your favorite football game if you please. Not everyone has that luxury and you should be grateful that you have such flexibility. You shouldn’t take advantage of it, but it’s always there if you need it.

4. Customers

If you have a single customer or more, you have good reason to be thankful. Most businesses never get a single customer and many others don’t make it past 6 months. The fact that you have come this far is a testament to your hard work and perseverance. Be sure to thank your customers and see if there is anything else you can do to make their experience even better.

5. A Team Pushing You To Be Better

While there is nothing wrong with being a solopreneur, it always takes a team of partners, co-founders or employees to make your company move forward. Be thankful that you have a team of great individuals that are working hard every single day to move your company along. Be sure to thank them and to reward them for their effort throughout the year.

6. Friends & Family Who Bear With You

Being close to an entrepreneur isn’t an easy job. They are constantly going through ups and downs and they have to bear with you when you fail, complain or go through obstacles. Thank those individuals who have been supporting you since day one and have wanted you to succeed more than anything else. They are the reason why you are where you are today.

7. Freedom

At the end of the day, entrepreneurship is all about freedom. The reason I became an entrepreneur was because I felt like I had no freedom working jobs and I needed to feel free again. As an entrepreneur, you turn checks into cash, you make the tough decisions, and you make the rules of how your business operates. That is the ultimate freedom that everyone seeks and dreams of.

Conclusion

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it felt like a great idea to remind every entrepreneur a few things they should be thankful for this year. What are some things you are thankful for as an entrepreneur?

5 Rules Of Super Productive People

Being productive is a key characteristic for anyone that wants to be successful. In this post, I shared 5 rules of super productive people.

Productivity is an art more than anything else. Those who have mastered it at are reaping the rewards and benefits of life. Those who still haven’t mastered it are usually struggling to make ends meet.

The more productive you are, the better your life is. The less stress you have and the more free time you should have. If you’ve ever wondered why someone like Ariana Huffington is doing so much more in the same amount of time you have, it’s simply because she is more productive.

Mastering your time and productivity is never easy. However, it can be done with a little bit of effort and practice. In this post, I share 5 rules of super productive people:

1. Get out of your own head.

Excuses are the number one thing that makes people less productive. Putting things off till another day because something else came up is the worse thing that you can do. Productive people already know what things they plan on getting done before they start their day.

Plan out your days by telling yourself what you plan on achieving each day. Whether you finish in 2 hours or 10 hours, it doesn’t matter. You shouldn’t be able to leave or move on to something else until your priorities are completed.

2. Stop the bleeding.

Everyone has distractions, even the most productive and successful people in the world. However, that isn’t enough. You need to find a way to stop the bleeding. Point out your distractions and find a way to get them out of your life.

You need to take control of your life and your decisions. The moment you’re able to successfully do that, you will be instantly more successful.

3. They know how to let go.

When you start your own business, it’s really hard delegating tasks out to other people. I went through the same issue in my first company. I was terrified of letting others do something because I was afraid of them messing it up. I always wanted to be in control.

I quickly realized I would not only lose my sanity, but I wouldn’t be successful if I continued moving forward with this mentality. I instantly began hiring people who I trusted and I started delegating them tasks that they could handle. Within a few months, the results were noticeably visible.

4. Set a strict schedule.

Another reason why so many productive people thrive is because they have strict schedules. Figure out a routine that works for you and stick to it. For me, I like waking up early in the morning and working until the early evening. After that, I spend that time relaxing.

Find a schedule that works for you and stick to it. Don’t make any exceptions to it and you’ll automatically see yourself being very productive. If you do things on the fly, it’s going to be tough.

5. Take breaks.

If you want to be productive, you need to let your mind rests when it’s tired. The trick with taking breaks is that you can’t take them if they are too long. Instead, you need to plan out your breaks properly.

Taking a 15-30 minute break every 2 hours is a great thing to do. However, some people like working for 2-3 hours and taking a 1 hour break. That’s a horrible idea because you completely disconnect from your work and lose focus when you come back.

Conclusion

Being productive is a key characteristic for anyone that wants to be successful. In this post, I shared 5 rules of super productive people. What are some things that have helped you become extremely productive?

How To Tell If Your Business Venture Is Wrong For You

In this post, I discuss how to tell if your business venture is wrong for you. Check it out and see if you are dealing with any of these things with your project.

A big misconception is that as long as you become an entrepreneur, you will be happy. However, I found out from firsthand experience that it isn’t always the case. When you become an entrepreneur, there are millions of different ways you can channel your passion.

Do it the wrong way and you’ll probably have some of the same feelings you had when you worked a job or did something else you didn’t truly enjoy. Instead of pursuing a business you aren’t in love with, it’s always a great idea to find something you do truly enjoy.

In this post, I share how to tell if your business venture is wrong for you:

It’s All About The Money

My first company at 17 was a multimedia agency that created websites, mobile applications and videos for other businesses. It took me just about a year and a half to figure out that this business was all wrong for me. Why?

I liked what I did, but I mainly cared about the money. It was a cash-driven business. I did anything and everything possible to make the most money possible. Other then that, it wasn’t something I was really passionate about. I just enjoyed it because I was in charge and I was making money on my own.

You Aren’t Focused On Growing

When you’re in the right business, you are constantly focused on growing and getting to the next level. However, if you get to a certain point and become satisfied with what you have, you might be in the wrong business.

Growth is crucial for anyone who wants to be massively successful with their entrepreneurial venture. If you lose focus of that and stop growing, you’ll be in a lot of trouble.

You Still Have A Lack Of Motivation And Enthusiasm

Not having motivation or enthusiasm when working a job you dread is completely understandable. However, when that lack of motivation carries over to your business, it’s not a positive sign at all.

The whole point of starting a business that is your own is that you are completely focused on being successful with it. If you lose motivation after some time or even enthusiasm, you need to reorganize your priorities and ask yourself if you’re in the right industry.

You Have Doubts

When you know you’re following your passion, you have no doubts. You are laser-focused on your goals and you don’t stop until you get there. If you’re having doubts, then this business might not be right for you.

Those people who have had uncanny faith in their businesses are the ones that have been successful. Self-confidence is everything when you’re an entrepreneur. If you don’t believe in your own vision, it’s going to be really hard convincing others to believe in it.

Conclusion

In this post, I shared my tips on how to tell if your business venture is wrong for you. If that is the case, you need to reflect and see how you can change it for the better.

6 Tips For Succeeding At Something You Know Nothing About

In this post, I share my 6 tips for succeeding at something you know nothing about. When I began my entrepreneurial journey at 17, I didn’t even know what the word ‘entrepreneur’ meant. However, that didn’t stop me from getting to where I am today.

I often go on speaking tours to deliver motivational messages inspiring people of all ages to pursue their dreams. One of the biggest excuses I hear from these individuals is that they can’t do it because of a lack of knowledge.

When I started my entrepreneurial journey at 17, I knew nothing about being an entrepreneur. Hell, I didn’t even know what an entrepreneur was until 19. Regardless, I decided not to wait and began chasing the big dream.

In this post, I’m going to share my 6 tips for succeeding at something you know nothing about:

1. Just Do It

Nike says it best when they say to do it. I like to think that impatience was a virtue for me because that is exactly what allowed me to be successful. I wasn’t close to ready when I got started, but I did it anyway.

If you’re really passionate about something, the best way to get better at it is to just get started. Make mistakes, hit roadblocks and learn along the way.

2. Surround Yourself With Like-Minded People

One of the greatest things about being an entrepreneur is that there is a huge community of others willing to give back and help. When I got started, I had tons of burning questions. I was able to send out emails to top influencers and get responses from quite a few people.

If you can surround yourself with like-minded individuals, you’re already ahead of the game. Wise people learn from the mistakes that others have made. By putting yourself around so many individuals interested in the same things as you, you’ll be able to save a ton of time.

3. Hustle

While finding mentors and friends who are doing something similar as you is great, you can’t solely rely on them to make you successful. I would say that 90% of my knowledge was gained through extensive research.

The internet is a beautiful source. Use it to your advantage because there are thousands, if not millions of different information sources that can help you with your passion. Do research, take notes and implement.

4. Get Back Up

Did I hit the ground hard many times? Oh yeah. In fact, it was so many times that I probably couldn’t tell you the exact number. A few of the things that helped make me successful was that I was willing to get back up no matter how bad the bruise was.

Mistakes and failures are apart of life. Nobody is perfect and I came to terms with that. In life, nobody cares about how many times you fail. You only have to be right once to be wildly successful. Use your failures as learning opportunities and continue getting back up.

5. Work Hard

There is no substitute for hard work. No matter how big or small your dream is, the only true recipe for success is working hard. If you put in more effort than everyone else, you are bound to eventually be successful.

I was successful as an entrepreneur because my business was my life. Working 16-18 hour days was nothing unusual for me during the early stages of my business. If you’re trying to master a skill or industry you know nothing about, hard work is the only real solution.

6. Have Fun

At the end of the day, you should only be doing something because you enjoy it. If you’re not having fun, it’s going to be very difficult to be successful at it. Passion is the driving force behind almost anything.

Make sure you’re able to laugh and smile throughout the whole experience. If you enjoy and love what you do, succeeding at it will be a piece of cake.

10 Things You’ll Never Hear From A Successful Person

The things you say and your attitude towards certain things can have a huge impact on the amount of success you achieve. In this post, we discussed 10 things you’ll never hear from a successful person.

It is nothing aside from your own thoughts that determine whether you will be successful or not. Every individual who is wildly successful today mastered their own mind and thoughts. Do you have the power to do that?

If you don’t, you better get the strength necessary to do so. If you make it a habit to think positively, you’ll see it carry out within your own actions. Here are 10 things you’ll never hear from a successful person:

1. “That’s not possible.”

Whether it’s a customer or a boss asking you to do something, saying that something isn’t possible will never get you very far. Businesses are successful when they fulfill the demands of their customers. Do whatever it takes to make the impossible, possible.

2. “I’m not good enough.”

If you don’t have self-confidence, it’s going to be really hard to believe in yourself. Being confident is a trait that will not only follow you in business, but it will also carry into your personal life. Believe in yourself and make sure you trust your abilities.

3. “I’m not interested.”

Don’t ever be the person who lets opportunity go by because they were too busy. Opportunities are always around you and successful people are always keeping their eyes and ears open to find the next big thing. If someone is bringing something to you, give them a few minutes to express themselves.

4. “I did it on my own.”

Successful people are usually humble and understand that no huge success can be achieved alone. They are always willing to thank their team and support system around them for any accomplishments they make. Don’t be selfish and take credit from others who deserve it.

5. “I need a vacation.”

If you need a vacation, you’re doing something wrong. It’s okay to want a vacation or to go somewhere, but you should never ‘need’ one. If you need one, you’re not following your passions and doing something you love.

6. “I don’t know how to do it.”

Those words are also poison. If you don’t know how to do something, your answer never should be “IDK”. Instead, you should be saying, “I’m not sure, but I’ll find a way”. If you don’t have the answers, go out and seek them.

7. “I’m scared.”

If you let fear run your life, you’ll never have the courage necessary to take a risk. Successful people are never fearful of anything. Successful people aren’t scared of taking risks even if it means being terrified along the way.

8. “I don’t want to make a mistake.”

Mistakes are apart of life. The quicker you find out that it is okay to make mistakes and that perfection doesn’t exist, the faster you will be able to reach your goals. Don’t ever stop yourself from doing something because you’re afraid of making a few mistakes along the way.

9. “I’d rather not do extra work.”

Regardless of how many hours a successful person has put in, they understand the value of hard work. If they can do more work in order to better themselves or their business, they will do it without complaining.

10. “That can wait.”

Successful people understand that there is no better time to do something than now. If you want something bad enough, you’ll get it done now. If you put things off for later or make excuses, you’re not committed to your dreams or goals. Never say something can wait.

Conclusion

The things you say and your attitude towards certain things can have a huge impact on the amount of success you achieve. In this post, we discussed 10 things you’ll never hear from a successful person.

5 Business Lessons I Learned From Launching 5 Businesses

In this post, I share 5 business lessons I learned from launching 5 businesses. What are some things that you have learned along the way on your journey?

In the last 4 years, I’ve launched 5 different business. Some of these businesses have been massive failures while others have actually been successful.

The one thing that I can say about all of these businesses is that I learned a lot. When I first got into entrepreneurship, I was only 17 years old. I didn’t have a degree or any experience in what it took to a run business.

Coming from there to where I am at today, I can say that I’ve grown a lot as an entrepreneur. In this blog post, I’m going to share the 5 business lessons I learned from launching 5 businesses:

1. Solve Real Problems

One business that really failed was Vintelli. The reason why was that we weren’t really solving a problem. Nobody had told us it was a problem, instead we went out seeking a solution for a problem that we created ourselves.

As you can imagine, it become a nightmare. We made money, got customers and had sales, but the truth of the matter was that we weren’t solving a real problem. As a business, your job is to create value. The more value you create, the more successful your company will be.

2. Just Get Started

I like to say that impatience is a virtue for me. Thanks to my impatience, I’ve been able to come as far as I have in 4 years. If you think about it, 4 years isn’t really a lot. After 4 years in college, you barely get a bachelors degree in a specific field.

If I would have waited to get a degree or more money in my bank account, I wouldn’t have come as far as I am today. When you build your own company, you don’t need all the right answers. You just need to be willing to go out and find them at all costs. Get started as soon as you can.

3. Focus On The Team

Out of my successful and unsuccessful businesses, team has played a crucial part in each of them. The companies that failed didn’t always have the best teams. In the meantime, the companies that have succeeded have had exceptional teams.

If you can’t put together a team of passionate individuals who believe in a common goal, it’s going to be a struggle to succeed. Many people don’t focus on building a team or bringing on partners, but it is crucial if you wish to be successful as an entrepreneur.

4. Ignore The Naysayers

When I started out as an entrepreneur, people always told me that I was too young or that my ideas were too big. I ignored all of them and it has taken me this far in life already. As long as you are passionate about solving a problem, you don’t need to worry about much else.

Develop the vision and keep plugging away at your ideas. Starting a company is never an easy journey. If it was easy, everyone would be successful. Show people what you can do and ignore the negativity that you will hear along the way.

5. If At First You Don’t Succeed, Try Again

5 business in 4 years is quite a feat on its own. The one lesson you can clearly see is that I don’t believe in giving up regardless of what happens. I may have had failures along the way, but I’ve always embraced the experience and came back stronger each time.

If at first you don’t succeed, gather your lessons and try again. For me, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur ever since I started my first business. The question for me was finding a business that not only works, but makes me extremely happy.

6 Things That Make Entrepreneurs Work Harder Than Ever

Starting your own business involves very little luck. It’s all about working your ass off to achieve the results you desire. In this article, I share 6 things that make entrepreneurs work harder than ever.

Every entrepreneur has to work hard if they want to be successful. If you’re looking for luck, you need to play the lottery. Entrepreneurship is a brutal lifestyle that only a few people in the world can really handle.

If you’re having trouble find the motivation or inspiration you need to work hard, then this post might be able to help. I’ll share 6 things that make entrepreneurs work harder than ever:

1. Tough Times

Mark Cuban has often said that entrepreneurs who have had a tougher time end up being more successful. Why? Well, the answer is rather simple. When you are going through times, you have extra motivation to change your situation. Someone who has a good life has to seek outside motivation to really succeed at something specific.

2. Partners Holding You Accountable

The great thing about starting a company is that you have a team of individuals who are just as passionate about an idea or business as you are. With that in mind, everyone on the team should have one common goal. When someone sees one of their team members losing sight of that goal, it’s their job to put them back on the right path.

3. Investors, Mentors or Advisers

If you are lucky enough to get an investor in your business, you’ll have all the pressure you need to make sure you’re getting your shit done. For those businesses that are still in an earlier stage, bring on a mentor or adviser that will help you become successful. They can offer insight to your business while also keeping you on track as an entrepreneur making sure that you’re always working hard.

4. Chasing Passion Instead Of Money

If you love doing something, you don’t have to worry about working hard. There’s a reason why entrepreneurs can work 80 hours happily without getting paid while people can barely get out of bed when having to work 40 hour weeks. It’s all about loving what you do and allowing your passion to push you to the top.

5. First Signs Of Success

When I first started out as an entrepreneur, I was working hard but it wasn’t to my full potential. It only took me a couple months to get my first pay day and to see some signs of success for me to take it to a whole another level. Everyone sometimes needs to see that what they are doing is actually going to work before they make their work an obsession.

6. Positive Feedback

If you’ve ever launched a mobile application, the most exciting thing in the world is seeing a positive review. The same goes for a service business or product-driven business. Getting positive testimonials or feedback from others is a great motivator. Seeing that your work is creating value and making a difference is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
